iPest Pty Ltd ABN 34 166 912 590 agrees to provide a Pest Control Inspection and or treatment (the service) at the premises mentioned for a fee, only to identify pests in the areas mentioned in the inspection and treatment report and subject to these terms.
Making your appointment
When making your appointment you need to agree on a convenient time for both parties to conduct the requested service. Our Technicians and Inspectors work Monday through to Friday from 7.00am – 5.00pm. Weekends may be requested but agreement must be confirmed by iPest.
We will contact you the day before your scheduled appointment to confirm the time that the technician will be attending to your service. Contact will be made via phone call, email or text message.
Most services we provide require internal access to your home. It is necessary for you or your delegated representative to be home at the time of service.
Changing your appointment
If you decide to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 2 working days notice is required.
iPest may reschedule your appointment due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events. In such instances appointment will be rescheduled, you will be notified and no charge applied.
Payment is required in full for the service rendered on the day at the time of treatment. Our Tax invoices are inclusive of GST. Payments are by direct deposit or cash. Payments can be accepted for Visa or Mastercard payments. However, these may incur an additional % transaction fee. Any treatment under Guarantee will not apply unless all outstanding monies have been paid to us. If payment is not forthcoming after 30 days we reserve the right to pass on the unpaid invoice to a debt recovery agent.
Service Call fees
If our services are required for an agreed time and we are then unable to perform those services due to the customer not being ready/available at that time, then a service call fee of $150 may be charged.
The customer will provide internal access to the premises where requested and at agreed times. The customer will provide access to any water or electricity that may be required by us to provide our service.
Externally, if gates/garages can be left unlocked this will assist our technicians. Inside your home we will always respect your personal belongings and property. We take the utmost care whilst completing our work.
If we see an additional potential pest issue whilst we are completing our service, we will advise you of our findings and recommend the best course of action. Where practical to do so provide parking for our technicians vehicle on the property.
It is important that the customer follows the safety instructions provided by the iPest technician concerning pesticides. If we are completing a spray treatment to your home and property your pets may be secured inside your home or garage. Once the external pesticide has dried, your pets can be unsecured. We do not spray near ponds and we would appreciate if you could inform us of any ponds when making your appointment. Internal fish tanks should be covered as a precaution. Fish are sensitive to pesticides, ponds and tanks needs to be covered.
Pest Inspections will comprise of a visual inspection only and is limited to those areas and sections of the property fully accessible and visible to the technician on the day of inspection. Customers should note that in occupied premises, furnishings and household items, including the garage, roof void and sub floor, may conceal evidence of pests and timber pests that are only revealed when items are removed.
iPest guarantees to promptly re treat any area or premises during the retreatment guarantee period without charge. The period operates from the date of service. iPest will have delivered the service in a competent and professional manner. The on going effectiveness of the Pest Control treatment also depends on the customer maintaining good housekeeping practices around the property including recommended hygiene and property maintenance procedures. Pest treatment may also be rendered ineffective by disturbing garden areas adjacent to the treated structures, building alterations, renovations and introducing materials to the property that encourage pest activity. The guarantee period will be either 3 or 6 months dependent on the named pest involved.
Damage to Utilities
If delivery of the services requires drilling or cutting any materials the customer will be responsible for identifying the location of all utility services to the property including water and drainage pipes, electrical and telephone cables, gas pipes etc. iPest will exercise due care in performing any drilling or cutting but the customer will be liable for any damage caused by penetration to any such services unless caused by the negligence of iPest.
We offer a Guarantee on most services we perform. In some circumstances are unable to guarantee those services, due to the nature of the pest or the situation. Our technician will assess the situation and offer the best guarantee if possible under the circumstances at the time.
